Amy Krois-Lindner, who was born and raised in New York, studied English at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and German and English at the University of Vienna. She teaches language competence courses at the department. She has also developed and taught ESP courses at the Vienna University of Technology and the Vienna University of Applied Sciences (Technikum Wien). Her interests include Legal English, presentation skills, and academic writing. Her book, International Legal English (Cambridge University Press), was published in 2006.
