Ranthild Salzer took her English and American studies at the university of Vienna where she is also doing drama, film and media studies. After working as a research assistant for the American Studies department, she is currently teaching Cultural Studies at this department. Her research fields are cultural studies and media studies. Ranthild is especially interested in gender studies, popular culture, as well as visual culture and film studies.
