In this presentation I provide a broad overview of approaches to narrative inquiry in language teaching and learning research. After describing what narrative inquiry is, including pointing out the centrality of stories in narrative research, I provide some recent examples of narrative research, including types of data collection and analysis. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
