Julia Lajta-Novak and the PoP team kindly invite you to the celebratory end-of-project event for their research project "Poetry Off the Page".

Over the past five years, researchers of the Poetry Off the Page (ERC/FWF) have investigated the significance of oral performance in the history of British and Irish poetry, foregrounding the role of the voice, the body, the performance, and the event in the study of poetry and its history.
To mark the conclusion of the project, the event programme will include:
- A brief retrospective on the project, its research outcomes, and its legacy
- Future prospects, including the launch of a collaborative network for scholars of poetry performance via the H-Net platform
- A reception with food and drinks
- And last but not least: a live performance by Kat François, World Poetry Slam Champion and a multi-talented artist and teacher, based in the UK.
