We are pleased to announce the international symposium "Trajectories of CLIL research" in honour of Univ.-Prof. Christiane Dalton-Puffer that will take place on April 10 from 9 am to 6 pm at our department.
Christiane Dalton-Puffer has been full professor of English Linguistics at the Dept. of English and American Studies since 2011. She wrote her habilitation on "The discourse of CLIL classrooms". Her research focusses on applied linguistics and its links to language teacher education, especially in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). She has led various interdisciplinary research platforms.
On April 10 the Department put together an international symposium in honour of her career. After an introduction by Prof. Ute Smit and Prof. Julia Hüttner the programme includes high class contributions featuring Prof. Angel Lin and other renowned guest speakers.
