Online Symposium "Feminist Interventions: Politics, Performance, Protest"

29.05.2024 10:00 - 16:00

Scholars across all disciplines and especially early career researchers are welcome to register and participate.

Postdoctoral researcher Tamara Radak and her co-organisers Sarah J. Hoover (University of Galway) and Cíara L. Murphy (TU Dublin) invite you to an engaged online symposium Feminist Interventions: Politics, Performance, Protest on May 29th, 10 am to 4 pm.

This interdisciplinary symposium will focus on refreshing our scholarly engagement with emerging and established feminist theory and aims to set the groundwork for building a working-group of feminist scholars interested in how the intersections of politics, performance, and protest act upon feminist concerns, placing a specific focus on interdisciplinary dialogue and networking.

Participation in this event is free and will involve a commitment to read and discuss a few readings which will be in line with the event’s key theme (additional suggestions welcome). The event will also host a roundtable of feminist scholars to conclude proceedings.

We welcome scholars across all professional stages, but especially welcome early career researchers looking to expand their own bibliography across and within disciplines.
