She held a position as a uni:docs fellow at the department from October 2015 to September 2018 and has recently finished her PhD research on vocabulary acquisition in out-of-school contexts with a thesis entitled "Beyond the walls: A mixed methods study of teenagers’ extramural English practices and their vocabulary knowledge".
She has a teaching degree in English and Italian from the University of Vienna and has been working as a teacher at an academic secondary school since 2013.
