Language in Use

LIU courses form the second module of the language competence programme and focus on working with a range of texts in order to understand how they are used to achieve a multitude of purposes (persuade, inform, explain, delight, etc., or any combination of these), and reach their respective audiences. You will analyse texts written by other authors, as well as produce your own texts for different audiences and purposes, which will result in you being better able to write various text types successfully and effectively.
