Welcome to the Vienna Centre for Irish Studies
In 2009, the Embassy of Ireland and the University of Vienna, under the aegis of Prof. Werner Huber, devised a partnership programme with a view to fostering and strengthening the study of Ireland. Under this scheme the Centre for Irish Studies has been organising readings, lectures, workshops and conferences relating to the 'matter of Ireland.'
