Around 80 people from six different countries took part in the conference. The participants came from Germany, Italy, Hungary, North Macedonia, Norway and Austria. The two plenary lectures were given by Katharina Heissenberger-Lehofer (University College of Teacher Education in Styria) and Kenan Dikilitas (University of Bergen, Norway). The numerous individual presentations and the five workshops at the conference were held by experts from the fields of environmental education, health education, social work, nursing science and teacher education. For the first time, the CARN-D.A.CH. Conference had a separate section for students, in which seven presentations were given by students, including five student presenters from the CELTER.

The conference was generously supported by the Centre for Teacher Education and the Department of English and American Studies at the University of Vienna.  The directors and staff of CELTER kindly took on various tasks in the organisation and implementation of the conference, as did the CARN-D.A.CH network team.
